The beautiful Best Western Woodland Inn  is seeking an energetic, hands-on General Manager which already had a full team in place to become part of our team and provide successful leadership at this beautiful location. We are on the base of Mount Saint Helens. We have many tourist who come here for recreational activities. As we are know to have world class fishing as well with world class salmon runs. As there are many lake Merwin reservoir, coldwater lake, silver lake, mason lake, and lake Cavanaugh to name a few. And we are close to city for city activities in Vancouver as well as Portland.

Located in leisure destination situated along the I-25 corridor between which keeps visitors busy for days! Local attractions range from Great app caves, and mount saint Helens.  Also located very close to the entertainment. Brimming with economic opportunity and a rich variety of cultural experiences. We are looking for bi lingual Korean American.

This property will flourish under the leadership of an experienced GM focused on training, team building, customer service, marketing, and community outreach. The General Manager will receive strong support from iconic recruiting.

We are currently seeking a talented and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Best Western Plus, where we strive to offer the highest standard of service to all our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front desk
  • Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately
  • Manage reservations and room assignments effectively, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries or requests in a professional and timely manner, this include group bookings, and corporate books.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Uphold Best Western's brand standards and values, delivering exceptional service at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in using phone systems and computer software applications visual matrix and Western western member portal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with hotel management software is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive attitude, a passion for customer service, and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.

Work schedule varies and may include working holidays and weekends.
